Eskata has been developed to combat these benign skin lesions in an effective and non-invasive manner. Eskata harnesses the power of hydrogen peroxide- the same chemical used for deep cleaning. This topical treatment contains forty percent hydrogen peroxide solution to be provided directly to the seborrheic keratosis with an easy-to-use soft point-tipped pen device for accurate application. This pain-free treatment effectively removes blemishes with little to no discomfort. Each spot is treated 4 times with one minute between for topical penetration and absorption. Following treatment, you may feel some slight burning or itching as the skin works to repair itself and eliminate the treated blemish. Larger blemishes may require more than one treatment after two to four weeks of skin repair for optimal results and blemish removal. After treatment, there may be some swelling and a small scab to the treated area which resolves into a smooth, blemish, scar-free area following initial skin healing.
