Tessa Horton, Nurse Extern and dedicated nursing student who chose healthcare because of her mother’s influence and the example she set. Inspired by that foundation, Tessa is driven by a genuine desire to care for others and make a meaningful impact during some of the most important moments in people’s lives. She aspires to work in either labor and delivery or the emergency department, drawn to the fast-paced, hands-on environments where compassion and quick thinking matter most.

She values organization and efficiency, taking pride in keeping both her work and surroundings structured and running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of nursing, Tessa enjoys going to the gym, cooking, traveling, and listening to music. She treasures time with her family and her dog, and she loves reading as a way to relax.
